It’s no secret that your photographer is one of, if not the, most important relationships you’ll form on your trek to “I do!”. In order for me to deliver my best work and you to have the most unforgettable experience in-between, it’s crucial that we deeply connect beyond surface level. Know that because I only take a limited amount of destination elopements and weddings a season, I will be honest with you if the energy or vision is not there for me, and I believe you would be better suited with another photographer. & I hope you would do the same as you deserve to be all in on the team behind your day.

I live to capture your love in new locations that have never been documented before. Not only because it makes for an iconic adventure, but unparalleled imagery. Because of my approach to the wild unknown, it’s important that you’re down for the ride. Of course, my location scouting, planning, and forecasting is the best in the West. But mother nature is unpredictable. Staying insatiably curious and flexible with an adventurous spirit ensures the right elements, light, and features will be unearthed to us as we wander. Which, in my opinion, makes the story more special anyhow.

I double as a photographer and a: trip planner, location scouter, therapist, bouquet holder, weatherman, and wannabee troop leader (imagine if I showed up in a park ranger uniform!). All scout promises aside… Because we are most likely traveling to remote destinations, I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Your safety is my top priority. No matter where we roam, I will ensure that we not only have the best professionals in our corner, but the local knowledge and necessities at our fingertips to have a smooth time.

This is about you being fully present with your person. With me as your camera happy sidekick, you can let go of the stress and worry. Knowing that the adventure ahead is waiting to wrap its arms around you in your entirety. In front of my lens I will direct you with natural, candid movement, but let your chemistry and connection lead the way. My goal is for you to feel as though you are at one with your surroundings together - almost as if I’m not even there.

Although I keep a straight face when we’re chatting Canon, backcountry, or endurance training; this experience is about having the time of your damn lives. We both know that the most beautiful, worthwhile relationships take work and commitment. Yet, when you’ve chosen each other through and through up to this moment, you deserve to celebrate. You may not be perfect to the world, but you are perfect for eachother. & that’s something to be foolishly and forever in love over!
